This tour includes a visit to the Museum of Anthropology of San Pedro Sula where you will get a glimpse of the life in the valley of Sula from Pre Columbian times to today. After the tour, we will visit Guamilito Local Market (an excellent shopping opportunity).
The largest natural lake in Honduras, Lake Yojoa is located only 96 km South of San Pedro Sula on the main highway to Tegucigalpa. World famous for its black bass fishing, Lake Yojoa offers a unique scenery, a cool climate for a refreshing change from the hot lowlands of the north coast.
Starting early in the morning, it will take about one hour to get to the Omoa Bay, at the Caribbean Sea. Lovely forested mountains along the seashores of Omoa are part of the spectacular landscape.
Our tour, which starts early in the morning at your hotel, will take you to an excellent paved highway through Western Honduras, following the Chamelecon River Valley.
Located on the eastern end of the bay of Tela, only 12 km from the town, this unique area takes its name from the small mountain that dominates the area and comes out into the Caribbean: Izopo Mountain.
